Highland Park - Officially part of the Park Cities, which encompasses Highland Park and University Park. Highland Park is the center of Dallas socialite activities. Red Light Cameras in University Park
According to the City of University Park, Red light cameras are now operating at two University Park intersections. The red light cameras located at Lovers Lane and Preston Road as well as Lovers Lane and Dickens Avenue will assist in monitoring traffic light violations. drivers violating the street light laws in University Park will receive tickets beginning Thursday, February 1st. The red light cameras were installed after a community survey deemed them necessary. Fines will range from $75 to $150.
