University Park is a sister city of Highland Park and is part of the Park Cities. The real estate in University Park tends to be a little less expensive than that of Highland Park, but there is a premium to live in the city nontheless. It's centerpiece is Southern Methodist University (SMU) which is the city's largest employer.
